Welcome to my website
Classical training...modern interests
Originally from Detroit, I've been living in Los Angeles for quite some time hitting the bricks as a barely-known actor. Along the way I've studied musical theatre at the University of Michigan, acting at Juilliard, Shakespeare in Oxford and Chekov in Moscow. Over the years I've made various side trips including co-founding an intellectual property private investigations firm and, more recently, beginning to learn some full-stack web development.
What's up?
It's been a busy year. I'm heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August where we'll be remounting Theatre Movement Bazaar's GRAIL PROJECT after a successful run in Los Angeles in Feb & March. If you're in town, stop by the Bedlam Theatre where we perform at 4:55pm every day. You can get your tickets here.
Prior to that I was a part of the world premiere of Kemp Powers' powerful Little Black Shadows at South Coast Rep. It was directed by the incredible May Adrales and got some great reviews. I was extremely honored to be a part of that show and am really looking forward to seeing where it goes in the future.
Last year was great as we took Theatre Movement Bazaar's TRACK 3 to Russia in June. We performed as part of the Chekov International Theatre Festival. We were the first American company to perform Chekov for the festival and the first American theatre company to attend since 1998 when Robert Brustein took American Repertory Theater.
Then in December, we took TRACK 3 back to Beijing as part of the Beijing Comedy Festival. It was a quick trip but a great success and it's always great performing in China.
On the nerd level...I'm in the process of re-building this website so check back every once in a while to see what's changed. I'll be uploading photos and videos of previous work. Maybe someday I'll hook up my blog again. We'll see....
In the meantime, sign up for my email list below to be kept in touch of upcoming events.
